The Emmy Award-winning anchor of WCVB Channel 5's nightly news magazine "Chronicle" is Anthony Everett. In September 2005, he began the program. He's also been a co-anchor on NewsCenter 5 at 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m.
Everett has won many Emmy Awards, including one in 2016 for his reporting on education and another in 2017 for his reporting on the high cancer rate among Boston firefighters. He won an Emmy in 2015 for his coverage of Alzheimer's disease as a societal issue.
