Anne Korin is the co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS), a Washington-based think organization specializing in energy security. Korin is the founder of the Set America Free Coalition, a strange bedfellow group dedicated to reducing America's reliance on foreign oil.
She has published essays for Foreign Affairs, The American Interest, National Review, Commentary magazine, and the Journal of International Security Affairs, among other publications. Korin appeared before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs in May 2008. Energy Security Challenges for the Twenty-First Century is co-edited by her. Turning Oil into Salt: Energy Independence Through Fuel Choice is her co-authored book.
