Lady Glenconner has reached the age of 87. Lady Anne Coke was born in 1932, the oldest daughter of the 5th Earl of Leicester, and grew up in their ancestral home in Norfolk, Holkham Hall. She married Lord Glenconner in 1956 after serving as a Maid of Honour at the Queen's Coronation.
They had five children together, three of whom are still alive. She and her husband began transforming the island of Mustique into a haven for the wealthy and famous in 1958. They gave Princess Margaret a parcel of land on which she constructed her favorite house.
