Anna Diop is a Senegalese-American actress. She was born in Senegal but moved to the United States when she was six years old. She has worked in both film and television. She is known for her roles as Starfire in Titans and Nicole Carter in 24: Legacy. In 2006 Anna made her onscreen debut with a recurring role on the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris. She made guest appearances on a number of shows including Lincoln Heights Whitney and Touch. She was cast as Rose a series regular in the CW series The Messengers. She also had a recurring role in Greenleaf as the character Isabel. Diop played a main character Nicole Carter in 24: Legacy the Fox spin-off of the crime drama 24. In 2018 Diop was cast as Starfire in the web television series Titans based on the Teen Titans comic books from DC. She will star in the upcoming horror film Us which is written and directed by Get Out creator Jordan Peele.
