Andy Fitze is a Swiss entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and globally recognized strategist for digital transformation and artificial intelligence. He holds an Electrical Engineering (HTL) degree and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen.He co-founded SwissCognitive, a leading global AI hub established in 2016 focusing on AI ventures, advisory, and technology market research. Fitze is also the founder and chairman of several AI tech startups and the CognitiveValley Foundation.
He is an adventure seeker, an avid high-latitude explorer, and a certified sailing instructor, having navigated over 40 countries. Fitze is a sought-after keynote speaker, drawing parallels between navigating extreme environments. He has orchestrated 22 self-organized sailing expeditions, including a 2024 North Atlantic voyage on a Viking ship. During that expedition, his ship encountered a severe storm, resulting in the tragic loss of a crew member, though the coastguard rescued Fitze and four others.
