Intel Corporation's Senior Advisor is Andrew S. Grove. Grove previously served as Intel Corporation's Chairman of the Board from May 1997 until May 2005. He was the company's CEO from 1987 to 1998, and President from 1979 to 1997.
Prior to co-founding Intel with Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore in 1968, he was the Assistant Director of Research and Development at Fairchild Semiconductor. Andrew S. Grove was born in 1936 in Budapest, Hungary. He earned a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from City College of New York in 1960 and a Ph.D.
