Anberlin is a Winter Haven, Florida-based alternative rock band that started in 2002. Stephen Christian, bassist Deon Rexroat, lead guitarist Joseph Milligan, drummer Nathan Young, and rhythm guitarist Christian McAlhaney have been with the band since the beginning of 2007.
Members of Anberlin first established a band in the late 1990s under the moniker SaGoh 24/7, producing two studio albums before disbanding due to a change in musical direction and name. Anberlin was founded in 2002, and within a year, they had signed with Tooth & Nail Records, a semi-independent record company.
