Amy Stephens is a member of the Colorado legislature. Stephens was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Republican in 2006, representing House District 20, which includes sections of Colorado Springs and the districts around the United States Air Force Academy in northern El Paso County, Colorado.
From 2010 to 2012, she was the House Majority Leader during the two years when Republicans controlled the House. Stephens was elected as the representative representing Colorado's 19th House District after redistricting. She is now a candidate for the United States Senate in the 2014 election.
