After serving on Girl on the Run NYC's core team of volunteers and coaching for eleven seasons, Allison Hauser embraced the power and the opportunity that Girls on the Run gives to elementary and middle school girls, which helps them to have a voice especially with their friends, in their schools and in their communities.
She serves as executive director for the organization. The lessons of healthy lifestyles, combined with running, gives these girls a chance to move, run and be carefree. Allison enjoyed athletics, movement and the spirit of a sports team from an early age. In high school, she spent every season -- fall, winter, spring, engaging in sports.
