Allison Drutchas is Policy and Product Counsel at Waymo self-driving technology company--formerly the Google Self-Driving Car Project. Previously she served as Autonomous Vehicles Counsel at General Motors as well as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
As General Motors' counsel for autonomous vehicles Drutchas helped to shape laws on driverless cars including legislation that enabled driverless deployment in seven states and the federal SELF DRIVE Act. Prior to joining General Motors Drutchas was an Associate Attorney at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn and served as a Regulatory Affairs Intern at Stryker Instruments.
