Ali has been a New York City actress and singer for more than three quarters of her life. She began performing professionally at the age of eleven. Most recently, she was a finalist on season two of The Glee Project and then played Artie's love interest on the fifth season of GLEE.
Ali grew up in Ridgewood, NJ and was a member of the New Player's Company. She is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentration in drama. After college, she performed Off Broadway in MRS. SHARP with Jane Krakowski.
