Ali oversees an analyst team focused on research and analysis on the emerging field of intelligent mobility. The team produces analysis on business models, technologies and policies related to ride hailing, car sharing and autonomous driving. Ali’s prior experience includes working at Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, and the fuel cell manufacturer, Ballard Power Systems.
Ali has an undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and a Doctorate in Materials Science from Meijo University.
