Alexander Reben is a kinetic engineer and interactive artist who creates robots and innovative interfaces to investigate humanity's changing connection with new tech in an experimental manner. His work has been featured in New Scientist, Fast Company, BBC, CBC, and Hack a Day, and has been presented at Ars Electronica, MIT, Axiom, EYEBEAM, and The Whitney Biennial.
He was asked to talk at TED after his MIT thesis, "Boxie." Reben's most recent interactive project, Robots-in-Residence: The World's First Documentary Shot And Directed Entirely By Robots, debuted at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam's Doclab and was included at the 2013 Tribeca International Film Festival's Storyscapes Competition.
