Alex Toussaint is a renowned Peloton Senior Instructor, motivational coach, and fitness personality. Often called one of Peloton’s most iconic cycling and running instructors, he joined the company in 2015 and has become a global fitness star with hundreds of thousands of followers. Pushing through a troubled childhood, he was sent to Wentworth Military Academy in Missouri at age 12, where he developed discipline, teamwork, and a no-excuses mindset that shapes his high-energy classes. Before teaching, he worked as a janitor and maintenance worker at Flywheel Sports, eventually becoming a spin instructor there. Known for his signature phrases, “Feel Good, Look Good, Do Better”, powerful hip-hop and motivational rides, and emphasis on mental health and vulnerability, Toussaint was Peloton’s first Black instructor. In 2020, he founded the Do Better Foundation to increase access to fitness resources. He is also a Puma athlete.
