Alex Nogales is an activist who fights for rights of Latinos in the media and for improving Hispanic employment in the field. Nogales began his career at Bicultural Children's Television for KNBC-TV.
There Nogales wrote writing for shows like Villa Alegre (Happy Village) and Treasures of Mexico.Nogales left TV in 1989 and went into a career of business marketing advertising and public relations. He has served as President for the Hispanic Academy of Media Arts & Sciences (HAMAS) and now heads the Hispanic Film Project.
