It was named Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards. Welcome Home, the band's second album, was released in 1986. She performed vocals alongside Geddy Lee on Rush's track Time Stand Still from their 1987 album Hold Your Fire in 1987. She also appeared in the song's music video.
