Agustin Fuentes earned a B.A. in Zoology and Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame. He is presently a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame.
Cooperation and bonding in human evolution, ethnoprimatology and multispecies anthropology, evolutionary theory, popular conceptions of human nature, and multidisciplinary approaches to human nature are among his current research interests.
