Adreian DeAngleo Payne is an American professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on a two-way contract with the Magic's NBA G League affiliate the Lakeland Magic.
He played college basketball for Michigan State University.On June 26 2014 Payne was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. On July 25 he signed his rookie scale contract with the Hawks after averaging 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds during the 2014 NBA Summer League.
