Admiral Dennis C. Blair is a member of the Energy Security Leadership Council of Securing America's Future Energy, as well as the boards of Freedom House, the National Bureau of Asian Research, and the National Committee on US-China Relations. Blair served as Director of National Intelligence from January 2009 to May 2010.
Dennis Blair was President and CEO of the Institute for Defense Analyses from 2003 until 2006. Admiral Blair was the Commander in Chief of the United States Pacific Command until retiring from the Navy in 2002 after 34 years of service. He just published Military Engagement: Influencing Armed Forces Worldwide to Support Democratic Transitions.
