Ace Frehley is best known as the founding member and main guitarist of the iconic rock band KISS. When the band surprised the globe with costumes and theatrics, he devised and embraced the character of SpaceAce. From the band's formation in 1973 until his departure in 1982, Frehley was a vital component.
After quitting KISS, Frehley started on a new path that led to a successful solo career, selling millions of records both with his band, Frehley's Comet, and under his own name. This was put on hold, however, when he reunited with his former bandmates for a hugely successful KISS reunion tour in 1996.
