Purple Heart Recipient Set to Deliver Message of Resilience on Veterans Day

The National Workers Compensation and Disability Conference (National Comp) has announced that Noah Galloway, a former U.S. Army soldier, motivational speaker, and fitness enthusiast, will serve as the keynote speaker at National Comp 2025, which will take place Nov. 11-12, 2025, at the Music City Center in Nashville.

National Comp is the nation’s largest and longest-running annual conference on workers’ compensation and disability management. The summit allows professionals to connect and navigate the most pressing challenges and innovations shaping the industry’s future.

Galloway served in the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was severely injured in an IED attack in 2005, losing his left arm above the elbow and left leg above the knee. After a challenging recovery marked by depression and addiction, he embraced fitness, competing in events like Tough Mudder, Spartan races, and CrossFit competitions.

Galloway gained national recognition as a contestant on ‘Dancing with the Stars” (Season 20), finishing third with partner Sharna Burgess, and won the first season of FOX’s “American Grit.” He authored a memoir, “Living with No Excuses: The Remarkable Rebirth of an American Soldier” (2016), and founded the No Excuses Charitable Fund to support veterans and wellness organizations. Named Men’s Health’s 2014 “Ultimate Guy,” he continues to inspire through speaking engagements and his work with groups like Homes for Our Troops and F45 Training.
