A Renowned Voice in Business and Leadership Headlines Premier Ag Gathering

The Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB) Annual Meeting is the state’s largest farmer-led conference. Each year, it unites thousands of members, delegates, and agricultural leaders to vote on grassroots policy, network, and honor those who have made significant contributions to the industry.

This year’s meeting, themed “Farming for the Next Generation,” takes place December 12-15 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. Headlining the event is Scott McKain, a Hall of Fame keynote speaker, bestselling author, and renowned expert on organizational distinction, customer experience, and business relevance, who will deliver the marquee address.

McKain’s speaking career began early, serving as a national officer in a major student leadership organization. By his early twenties, he had delivered more than 1,000 presentations and met prominent figures such as the U.S. President and Colonel Sanders.

He has gone on to deliver more than 2,000 presentations in dozens of countries, serving clients such as Apple, BMW, Cisco, and Hilton. McKain is a member of both the Professional Speakers Hall of Fame and the Sales & Marketing Hall of Fame, and is the recipient of the 2024 Cavett Award, the National Speakers Association’s highest honor.

His books, including “Create Distinction” (2013), “ICONIC” (2018), and “The Ultimate Customer Experience” (2023) explore what it takes to stand out in competitive markets. McKain currently serves as Corporate Educator in Residence at High Point University and resides in Las Vegas.
