Cosmetics Empire Founder Set to Share Business and Branding Insights in Nashville

Cvent, an industry-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider serving 30,000+ customers worldwide, has announced Bobbi Brown as the keynote speaker for its flagship conference, Cvent CONNECT. The summit will take place from July 13-16 in Nashville, Tennessee, with both in-person and virtual experiences designed to educate and inspire future industry leaders.

Hailing from northeastern Illinois, Brown graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a focus on theatrical makeup and photography. She later moved to New York City in 1980, where she built a career as a professional makeup artist known for her natural, wearable aesthetic, which emphasized neutral tones over the bold colors popular at the time.

In 1991, she launched Bobbi Brown Essentials with just 10 lipsticks at Bergdorf Goodman, an iconic luxury department store. The line quickly became a global success, celebrated for promoting authentic beauty. Estée Lauder Companies acquired the brand in 1995.
