Self-Made Entrepreneur Will Offer Her Business Strategies to the Future of Agronomy
The agriculture industry is one of the most vital sectors of a thriving economy, driving GDP, providing raw materials for industry, and contributing to environmental stability. To tackle new challenges such as tax strategies, farm succession, new innovative technologies, crop insects, and disease control, thousands congregate every year for Manitoba Ag Days. The three-day exposition attracts exhibitors and visitors from across Canada and the United States.
“Farming is a complex business, and we know how important it is to keep up with all aspects of a farming operation,” said Kristen Phillips, General Manager, Manitoba Ag Days. “You will continue to see a strong focus on agronomy as well as sessions focused on emerging technology, livestock, and marketing.”
Next year’s event will take place at the Keystone Centre on January 20-22, 2026, and they have a strong panel of keynote speakers ready to offer their insights on how to grow the sector and impart business acumen to help future farmers thrive. One of the most prominent speakers just added to the list is Arlene Dickinson, a serial entrepreneur made famous on CBC’s “Dragon’s Den” for 16 seasons.
