Paul Root Wolpe is a sociologist and bioethicist from the United States. He is the Raymond F. Schinazi Distinguished Research Chair in Jewish Bioethics, the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Bioethics, a Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics, and Sociology, and the Director of the Center for Ethics at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Wolpe was the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's first Chief of Bioethics (NASA). He is the Editor-in-Chief of AJOB Neuroscience, the official journal of the International Neuroethics Society, and was Co-Editor of the American Journal of Bioethics (AJOB). Wolpe is also a member of the INS's Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
